  • The expansion valve’s opening is too small or blockage of the expansion valve.
  • There is not enough refrigerant substituting liquid. Due to this, just a little refrigerant enters the evaporator. This causes part of the surface area not to be able to partake in heat exchange.
  • The chilled water’s temperature present in the evaporator is either frozen or too low.
